We want to enhance the profile of our schools. The SCSBC recognizes that development is an integral part of operating a Christian school. Development represents all those things we do within our schools to share mission and vision, and to bring people into an increasingly committed relationship with their school. Development is getting people to understand, embrace and take ownership of the school so that they will continue to support it in many ways; it is "creating opportunities for God's people to invest/get involved in God's work". Six key areas of development are:

Stewardship is a biblical concept that includes the receiving, managing, and giving of God-given financial, material, spiritual, and human resources for God-given purposes. This is something that must be practiced not only in our homes and churches but also in our Christian schools.

Focussed on the financial management and development programs in your schools, this conference provides those in finance and development roles the opportunity to meet with specialists and consultants through workshops, plenary sessions, panel discussions, and an opportunity to network with colleagues.
