Pacific Christian School seeks an experienced Christian educator with demonstrated leadership ability to join the Pacific Christian Secondary School leadership team for the 2018/19 school year and beyond. This position is a combination of approximately 50% teaching and 50% school leadership, with a particular focus on supporting teaching and learning. We are in a season of leadership transition, and have some flexibility to adapt specific duties to fit the strengths of the team.   • developing teaching approaches that are responsive to 21st-century learning needs and that support the implementation of the BCEd Plan?
  • integrating a Christian worldview in all curricular areas?
  • collaborating with, and leading, highly-experienced teaching colleagues in the process of curriculum implementation?
  • developing and guiding interdisciplinary studies, inquiry-learning, and/or project-based learning?
  • other areas of school leadership and administration, such as building positive school culture, engaging in restorative discipline, and envisioning structures and practices that support student engagement?

Candidates should possess, or be eligible to obtain, British Columbia teacher certification.
