Elementary Education Assistant Back to Jobs


We are looking for a full-time Educational Assistant at the elementary campus. The position starts November 12 and is for the remainder of the 2019/20 school year, with the possibility of extension. The hours will be 8:15 am – 3:15 pm (with a start time of 7:45 am on Wednesdays).

Students at Pacific Christian School have diverse learning and care needs. Educational Assistants work within the classrooms supporting student success. Some students benefit from direct support, while others do better with a more indirect approach. Sensitivity and flexibility are essential qualities to ensure student success.


Successful completion of a Teacher Assistant Certificate Program, a Community Support Worker Program or a combination of relevant training and experience.

Training and experience in the following will be given hiring priority:

  • Non-violent crisis intervention certification
  • POPARD or other training in the area of autism
