Langley Christian School is accepting applications for an intermediate teacher (grade 4 or 5) for the coming fall, 2021.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree with specialization in teachable subject areas
  • Eligible for BC Teaching Certification or Independent Schools Teaching Certification
  • Evidence of participation in a local Christian faith community
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, inclusive work environment
  • Evidence of courage, integrity, transparency and honesty in relationships
  • Understanding of early childhood learning practices
  • Ability to implement evidence-based, best-practice in instruction and assessment
  • Willingness to coach athletics, or participate in fine arts or extra-curricular activities is an asset
  • Coursework and training in literacy, numeracy and a core teachable subject
