Surrey Christian School is a PreK-12 school of over 1300 students at three campuses in the suburbs of Vancouver. Our vision statement is “Educating for Wholeness by Engaging God’s World in the Servant Way of Jesus”.

Our Education Support Services Department is accepting applications for a full-time Coordinator at our Fleetwood elementary campus starting in August for the 2020-21 school year.

Surrey Christian School’s Education Support Services is committed to empowering students to reach their potential as unique learners who bear the image of Christ. Through purposeful inclusion we encourage students to develop their gifts, become self-advocates, and gain independence as valued members of their communities.

The Education Support Services coordinator is responsible for coordinating the development and supporting the implementation of Individualized Education and Learning Support Plans for students with exceptionalities. The coordinator will also be responsible for leadership and supervision for Education Assistants, as well as being part of Surrey Christian School’s K-12 Education Support Services team.

We are seeking applicants who:

  • Are British Columbia certified teachers or Independent School certified teachers
    Have coursework in Special Education
    Have volunteer or work experience with students with exceptionalities
    Have great communication skills
    Are great team players
