“Behold, I make all things new.”- Revelation 21:5
Three provincial organizations have come together to form a new cohesive association. Ontario Alliance of Christian Schools, Ontario Christian School Administrators Association, and Edifide will become a new single organization that will lead, enhance, serve and support Christian education in Eastern Canada.
We are searching for an Executive Director to steer the new organization through this next chapter and beyond with vision and faithfulness.
Your life’s work has been fueled by the conviction and evidence that Christian education equips young people to be engaged, faithful, fruitful citizens in God’s Kingdom and the world.
You want to use your expertise and leadership to serve the community of Christian educators and administrators in a way that advances that purpose on a large scale.
Your opportunity is here and now.
Your primary goal in this role is to lead this new association. As we come together, you will help the stakeholders transition from their silos into a big tent community. Once the transition has reached a tipping point, your leadership will become more focused on furthering our mission.
You will be well-served by your years of organizational leadership, seasoned financial acumen, and experience in Christian education.
The specific outcomes you pursue will be largely determined by you. We expect that you will already have the beginnings of a plan for leading an organization of teachers, principals and boards. This is an opportunity to implement that plan, and craft your role according to your vision, gifts and expertise.
For this role, your soft skills are as important as your experience. You will fit this role if you are:
The character of any Executive Director sets a distinct tone for their organization. You will model clarity, transparency, trustworthiness, and respect.
This is a full-time, permanent role with commencement expected to be Summer of 2018. You will be responsible to help launch the new organization’s brand and location. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, and full compensation will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
Our culture is still developing as a new organization. You will be the key leader, creating an atmosphere where the team will strive to serve God, younger generations and our society. Your strong leadership skills will flourish and be counted upon.
If this opportunity resonates with you, we want to hear from you.
Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
