Faith Formation Director – Secondary

Abbotsford Christian School, Secondary Campus, is currently accepting applications for a half-time (0.5) position of Faith Formation Director.

At ACS on our secondary campus the Faith Formation Director is responsible for the intentional discipleship of the student body. This could include, in part, the planning and implementation of weekly chapels, teaching Bible classes, facilitating Global Intercultural Studies (GIS), championing our school-to-school program with Centro De Fe in Nicaragua, and leading grad activities. All of this kept in harmony with the mission, vision, and core beliefs of ACS.

Specific qualifications include:

• BA degree in Biblical Studies or a related degree in Christian Education
• Clear understanding of Christian Education
• MA degree in Christian Education (MDiv, MCS or equivalent) or related field preferred
• Experience in youth work, youth ministry and/or Christian education

• Mature, driven, passionate, reliable and known for integrity
• Being an excellent teacher, with superb classroom management abilities and student rapport
