Abbotsford Christian School, located in the Fraser Valley, is a well-established interdenominational school of 1000 students in three campuses: Elementary (preschool – Grade 5), Middle (6-8) and Secondary (9-12).

Abbotsford Christian School, Secondary Campus, is currently accepting applications for the position of Foods and Nutrition Teacher. This is a full time position commencing August 27, 2018.

Specific qualifications preferred include:

  • BA degree or equivalent training/experience in Culinary Arts (Red Seal, etc.)
  • BC Teaching Certificate (not necessarily required at this time)
  • Clear understanding of Christian Education
  • Other subject area expertise
  • Understanding of Project Based Learning and Deeper Learning Strategies
  • Thorough understanding of the New BC Education Plan
  • A clear vision for a professional, modern and innovative Foods program, including developing a cafeteria or catering program, in addition to other possibilities.
  • Extra-curricular experience
