The Secondary Campus at Richmond Christian School is looking for innovative and collaborative BC certified teachers who can demonstrate a commitment towards Christian Education by walking with students to a deeper understanding of what it means to joyfully serve Jesus in all aspects of life. • Evidence of involvement in a local Christian faith community
• Eligible for BC teacher certification or independent schools’ certification
• Training in teachable subjects
• Strong professional references
• Strong understanding of student support, differentiated instruction, special education and inclusive practices
• Strong assessment and instructional practices
• Ability to work in a collaborative and inclusive work environment
• Evidence of courage, integrity, transparency and honesty in relationships
• Desire to work towards restoration and reconciliation
• Evidence of strong interpersonal communication
• Technology skills
• Oral and written communication skills
• For the Academic Advisor, knowledge of the BC graduation requirements, timetabling, post-secondary requirements, and scholarships will be helpful.
