Our Education Support Services Department is accepting applications for a 20 % position in August which will lead to a 80% position in January for a Learning Assistance and Special Education Coordinator (Education Support Services Coordinator), at our Cloverdale Elementary campus for the 2018-2019 school year.
Surrey Christian School’s Education Support Services is committed to empowering students to reach their potential as unique learners who bear the image of Christ. Through purposeful inclusion we encourage students to develop their gifts, become self-advocates, and gain independence as valued members of their communities.
The Education Support Services coordinator is responsible for coordinating the development and supporting the implementation of Individualized Education and Learning Support Plans for students with exceptionalities. The coordinator will also be responsible for leadership and supervision for Education Assistants, as well as being part of Surrey Christian School’s K-12 Education Support Services team.
