Langley Christian Middle School runs a Grade 6 to 8 school program with a middle school philosophy for learning. Our teachers are BC certified, creative, resourceful and are passionate about learning. They are committed Christians who love working with teenagers. Langley is seeking applications for a part time Learning Assistance Coordinator. The position will be a .50 FTE and will require school attendance multiple days during the week.


  • Bachelor of Education Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of successful classroom teaching
  • University coursework/ diploma in special education
  • Training to administer Level B assessments (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Provide clear and effective verbal and written communication
  • Articulate a Christian Worldview for Education

The Learning Assistance coordinator is responsible for LSP (Learning Support Plan)  development and for determining the appropriate supports and services that are needed to meet student learning needs. This position involves working directly with students, communicating with parents, supervising EAs, and collaborating with classroom teachers. The LA coordinator works closely with other members of the K -12 Educational Support Services team.
