Learning Specialist Back to Jobs

At King’s Christian Collegiate, we are captivated by the idea that each person can flourish in the fullness of life, where each day they understand more truly themselves, others, and a world that belongs to God. Faculty take the ceiling off learning and relentlessly pursue a plan for success for each student.

We are seeking a learning leader with a minimum of 5 years of experience who can communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents. Applicants will:

  • Have a deep interest in psychology and learning theory
  • Understand students for their potential
  • Be a keen student of research in learning
  • Provide strategic input to teachers and families
  • Have experience in the classroom
  • Think and work adaptively
  • Be a learning coach and advisor for students, parents, and teachers
  • Care for the whole health of students

Educators are supported with a robust weekly Research and Development program, instructional and learning coaches, mentors, a culture of collegiality, and resources that are driven by vision. The Learning Specialist will work closely with the Learning Strategist and the Vice Principal of Instruction to provide support to teachers and students in the Learning Commons.

If King’s sounds like the school for you to develop as a master educator, please send a letter of application, a current resume, three professional references and a Pastor’s reference, along with a copy of your most current transcript to the principal, Mr. John DeBoer. Selected candidates will be contacted for an interview.
