Kamloops Christian School invites applications for a part-time Outdoor Education teacher. The successful applicant will join a vibrant staff with opportunities for collaboration and professional development. Candidates must hold a valid teaching certificate allowing them to teach in British Columbia. Successful candidates will participate in an interview process. Our anticipated start date is August 30, 2018. This position is, at minimum, a .2 (one full day a week) position with the ability to teach other courses as well, depending on qualifications and specialties. Highly desirable qualifications include experience teaching outdoor education, using Teaching for Transformation or other Christian Perspective courses, knowledge of Google’s Educational Suite, and experience collaborating with other teachers (cross grade and subject instruction), as well as coaching experience. This position can leave other week days open for placements on TTOC lists.
