Richmond Christian School seeks a qualified and dynamic Christian leader to become the next principal of the secondary campus on August 1, 2020. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a principal and the ability to lead, nurture and shepherd a dedicated staff of teachers and support workers. The successful candidate will work with a superintendent and a strong team of administrators. Vibrant communications skills, both verbal and written, are essential as well as in-depth knowledge of the BC Education Plan. A proven ability to build strong relationships with students, staff and the parent community is vital. The compensation package includes a competitive salary and a generous housing allowance.

About the Secondary Campus
The secondary campus is home to almost 50 dedicated staff members and 330 students enrolled in grades 9 through 12. An energetic and dynamic community, we strive to create an environment of learning where staff and students love and serve Jesus Christ on a daily basis.


The Secondary Campus Principal will lead and empower our faculty and staff team and will be passionate about doing “What’s best for kids.” The secondary campus principal will report directly to the Superintendent, work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team and have proven strengths in many of the following areas:

  • Leads with a pastor’s heart and the capability to shepherd a large, diverse and competent staff
  • Able to commit to the RCS vision and mission
  • proven public relations track record
  • equipped with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • innovation in teaching and assessment practices with students and staff
  • integration of biblical worldview in education



  • Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or equivalent graduate degree
  • British Columbia Professional Teachers’ Certificate
  • Knowledgeable of the BC Ministry of Education and its relationship to the BC Independent School Act
