Pacific Christian School Superintendent Job Posting / Profile

Pacific Christian School is actively seeking a visionary, collaborative and servant-leader for the position of Superintendent to begin August 2018.   This is a new position for Pacific Christian School after a recent restructuring of our leadership model.

Qualifications / Profile

The ideal candidate to lead Pacific Christian School in its vision and mission will:

  • be passionate about Christian education
  • be committed to PCS’ vision and mission
  • be a visionary leader who will continue to develop and expand PCS
  • be a seasoned educational leader with extensive experience in both the classroom and school administration, school governance, 21st century learning initiatives, Human Resources, and finances
  • have experience and familiarity with the development and implementation of a strategic plan
  • be a motivational and inspirational team leader
  • have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • have proven public relations skills
  • have strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • qualify for a British Columbia Professional Teachers’ Certificate
  • have an understanding of the BC Ministry of Education requirements for independent schools and the Independent School Act
  • hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or equivalent graduate degree
