Jim McKenzie is a Christian educator, speaker, and former head of school with more than 30 years of experience in K–12 education, much of it dedicated to leading and championing Christian schools. He has spoken at conferences, leadership retreats, and workshops across North America, known for integrating biblical insight, practical wisdom, and engaging storytelling. His talks explore themes such as future-ready schools grounded in enduring truths, teacher wellness, sustainable leadership, school culture and enrollment, and discipleship in a distracted age. In 2019, he delivered a TED Talk titled “Future Ready Schools,” and in 2023, he published “One Generation to the Next,” a guide for families and educators on forming faith for the next generation. Jim currently supports product innovation at Meteor Education and coaches school leaders through the Herzog Foundation, helping hundreds each year strengthen their schools’ vision, culture, and connection. He lives in Gainesville, Florida, with his wife, Hannah, and their five children.
