Description
VCS is seeking a visionary individual to continue developing a comprehensive and innovative secondary ADST program, with a focus on grades 8-12.
- We have two well-established technology education shops: one fully equipped for woodworking, and one fully equipped for automotive, metalwork, power-technology, and trades exploration.
- We are willing to explore applicants with general ADST teaching experience, including areas such as Project-based learning, Maker-space, entrepreneurship & career education.
Qualifications
- Committed follower of Jesus Christ with active church involvement
- BC Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for BC certification)
- Strong vision for Christian education
- Desire to work in a highly relational and collaborative staff and student learning community
- Experience with “Teaching for Transformation” practices would be an asset
