Part-Time and On-Call Bus Drivers

King’s Christian School (KCS), located in the beautiful “Heart of the Shuswap” in Salmon Arm, B.C., is currently accepting applications for Part-Time and On-Call Bus Drivers.

With a legacy spanning nearly 50 years, KCS has provided generations of students from Preschool through Grade 12 with a strong foundation in Christian education. We invite passionate, faith-driven educators to join our vibrant, community-oriented staff as we respond to God’s call to “Educate for Life.”

All Bus Drivers

Part-Time Bus Drivers

• Reduced tuition for staff with school-aged children

Driving Record Requirements

• Class 2 BC Commercial License with air brake endorsement for Conventional Transit Operator
• OR Class 4 unrestricted BC Commercial License for Community Shuttle Operator
• No more than one (1) violation in the last three (3) years. Maximum points on the one (1) violation can be no more than three (3) points. This includes non-moving violations
• No suspensions or prohibitions of any kind in the past five (5) years

Other Qualifications/Requirements

• Able to obtain a Criminal Record Search, including a Vulnerable Sector Search.
• Able to understand, speak, read and write English
• Able to pass a Comprehensive Medical Examination
• Willing to work split shifts (morning/afternoon) and do on-call field trips
• Current First Aid Certificate (Level 1)
