WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

This position is a foundational role in the daily operations of our Middle School. As a daytime custodian, you will interact with students, staff and parents throughout the day. While your primary focus is ensuring our classrooms, hallways, and facilities remain clean, safe and welcoming, you will also be the go-to support for changing needs that arise during the week. We are looking for an adaptable, relational individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to contribute to our community.

This role is from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm on school days only.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of Grade 12.
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or general building maintenance is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while maintaining a collaborative
• attitude within the broader team.
• Ability to stay active on your feet, bend, reach, and safely lift up to 15-20 kg.

Employment is subject to a criminal record check.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

• $21 – $24 per hour
• Extended benefits
• Pension in the second year of employment
