    EDUCATION ASSISTANT (1.0) BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 2026

Our weekly schedule, including dedicated Friday morning professional learning blocks, is designed to ensure you have the time and resources to do your best.

     

    EDUCATION ASSISTANT

    • Support an inclusive classroom as a vital member of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Collaborate with teachers to modify environments and materials so all learners participate fully.
    • Provide intentional 1:1 or small-group assistance to implement specific IEP goals and growth strategies.
    • Assist in developing and implementing behaviour plans to provide a consistent, professional presence.
    • Maintain high standards of confidentiality and respect to uphold the dignity of every learner.
    • Track student progress through diligent anecdotal records and work samples to celebrate learning

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Education Assistant Certificate (or equivalent)
    • Evidence and/or further training in supporting students with autism or FASD, personal care needs, or other learning differences
    • Evidence of a strong sense of purpose and identity built on Biblical principles and participation in a local Christian church community
