Richmond Christian School is hiring an Educational Assistant, starting September 1, 2026.

Compensation Range

$24,910.00 – $38,841.00

Please note that the posted salary range is based on the 2025/26 salary grid and will be adjusted for the 2026–27 school year.

About You

The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment towards both Christian and Inclusive Education. The ideal candidate also demonstrates a foundational knowledge in working within the Positive Behaviour Support framework, experience in supporting Autistic students and has the ability to anticipate the needs of a diverse group of learners.

About the Position

We are seeking a dynamic, collaborative EA who is passionate about Christian education and committed to integrating a Christian worldview into their practice.

The Educational Assistant (EA) will work to support students, under the direction of the classroom teacher, both class-wide, as well as in small groups or one-to-one. The EA should have strong collaboration and communication skills in order to work best with classroom teachers and should show flexibility to best meet the needs of students ranging from Kindergarten to Grade Five. This role is an on-site position located at our Elementary Campus, 5240 Woodwards Road, Richmond.

Qualifications & Requirements 

Education & Experience  

• Current certification from an accredited Educational Assistant Program or related certification such as Behaviour Interventionist.
• Evidence of coursework or experience with exceptional and unique learners
