THE POSITION?
Langley Christian School provides a dependable, high-quality education in a thriving Christian learning community committed to helping families equip their child to grow confidently in faith and find their purpose in the world.
We are seeking a skilled music educator either fully certified in BC or eligible for an independent school teacher certification or subject-specific teaching certification, who has a track-record and experience working with grades 2-5 and willing to work collaboratively to strengthen the LCS Arts Program. Monday & Tuesday 8 – 1:45; Wednesday – Friday 8 – 12:30.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
Competitive compensation (1.0 FTE salary range $64,224 – $106,193).
Collaboration with an outstanding K-12 music arts teachers, administrators and elementary staff.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Eligible for a teaching certificate or letter of permission
Bachelor’s degree in education or music
Demonstrate knowledge of music curriculum and the ability to implement it
Ability to interact collaboratively with students, parents and administration
Evidence of strong sense of purpose and identity built on Biblical principles and participation in local Christian church community.
