    GRADE 6 HOMEROOM TEACHER (1.0 FTE) STARTING AUGUST 2026

    MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER: THE GUIDE

    • Lead a homeroom to support middle years students’ academic, social-emotional, and spiritual growth.
    • Deliver engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity and excellence in every student.
    • Intentionally cultivate the LCS Learner attributes, helping students navigate their learning and faith with increasing independence.
    • Support school life through athletic coaching, performing arts initiatives, or building adaptive STEM programming.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Valid BC teaching certificate or independent schools teaching certification
    • Relevant university qualifications (Bachelor of Education, specialization in Mathematics, Theatre/Drama, and/or STEM-related curriculum)
    • Evidence of a strong sense of purpose and identity built on Biblical principles and participation in a local Christian church community

     

    WHAT DO WE OFFER?

    • Annual salary range of ($68,135 – $112,660)
    • Pension plan and extended benefits package

    • Pursue your master’s with up to $20,000 available for support through our Continuing Education Assistance Program
