Are you passionate about guiding students on their journey of faith and learning? Community Christian School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Grade 7/8 Teacher to join our team starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant Christian community where students are equipped to be firmly rooted in their faith and prepared to serve in all areas of life.

Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic educator to teach our Grade 7/8 class. The successful candidate will foster a positive learning environment that encourages academic excellence, spiritual growth, and the development of each student’s God-given potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that integrate a Christian worldview across all subject areas
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Create a supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with the school team to develop and implement curriculum
• Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback
• Model Christian character and nurture students in their faith journey

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Education degree with certification in Ontario (or eligibility)
• Commitment to the mission and vision of Community Christian School
• Experience teaching in junior/intermediate grades
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to integrate faith and learning
• Special Education Specialist AQ or experience supporting diverse learning needs (an asset)
