Salary Range: $122,816 – $150, 746 (dependent on education/certificate and experience)

Unity Christian School, located in the picturesque city of Chilliwack, British Columbia, is seeking a dedicated and visionary Head of School to begin in the 2026–2027 school year. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to lead a thriving K–12 Christian school community deeply committed to Christ-centred education, academic excellence, and the flourishing of every student.

As the chief educational and administrative leader, the Head of School will work in close partnership with the Board, leadership team, staff, and families to cultivate a welcoming, faith-filled, and engaging learning environment. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership during a season of growth, including developing a new Strategic Plan in 2027 and guiding the school through a capital campaign and the construction of a new PreK–5 campus.

This position is well-suited to an experienced educational leader who is passionate about Christian education, values relational leadership, and is eager to guide a school community through growth with wisdom, clarity, and vision.

The Head of School

The Head of School at Unity Christian School serves as the chief executive officer,

providing strategic and spiritual leadership to ensure the school’s mission, vision, and values are upheld. The Head of School is responsible for the overall management of the school, including educational leadership, staff development, admissions, financial health, and collaboration with the board of directors and committees.

Qualifications

• Be a committed Christian who is able to provide spiritual leadership to staff and students.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build, lead, and support effective teams.
• Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate (TRB Certificate of Qualification – Professional).
• Possess a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership (or a related field).
• Have a minimum of five years of experience serving as a Head of School or Lead Principal.

• A Statement of Faith, articulating the candidate’s Christian beliefs and demonstrating alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Unity Christian School.
