For the 2026/27 school year, Pacific Christian School is seeking a Grade 9 Humanities/Math teacher who is passionate about walking with teenagers—guiding their learning, sparking curiosity, and nurturing their formation. We invite educators who see teaching as a calling, who delight in shaping minds and hearts, and who desire to cultivate a learning environment where students grow in knowledge, faith, and service.
We welcome candidates who bring passion and experience to more than one area. In addition, candidates should:
- possess current British Columbia teacher certification
- have a vibrant Christian faith and a desire to foster Christian faith formation in students
- desire to become an active, contributing, collaborative member of a professional learning community
- have demonstrated organizational and planning skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills with both adults and young people
- have experience in the following areas:
- teaching in a middle-school or high-school setting
- employing teaching approaches that are responsive to our current context in education, as reflected here: PCS Guiding Educational Principles
- integrating Christian worldview and employing pedagogical practices that reflect and support Christian formation
Remuneration is based on the PCS Salary Grid (2025/26 currently posted with an increase anticipated for the 2026/27 school year).
To apply, please forward the following to Secondary Principal, Gabe Kremler (gabe.kremler@pacificchristian.ca):
- letter of introduction
