Short Term ELL Coordinator/Teacher (November 18 – December 11, 2024)

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an experienced ELL teacher who can provide language instruction to a short-term group of visiting international high school students from South America.

This would be a short-term assignment (Nov. 18 – Dec. 11) where you will have the opportunity to teach English and cultural understanding to students from a Christian School from a different part of the world.

THE POSITION?

Coordinate and provide ELL instruction and support to short-term visiting international students at the high school level

Create lesson plans that focus on language proficiency, literacy skills and cultural understanding

Choose or create curriculum level assessments, including initial assessments at orientation stage

Complete ELL report cards

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

Hourly rate of $31.56 – $34.88 hourly based on qualifications and experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

TESL and/or TOEFL certification

BCCT or Independent School Teacher Certification

Appropriate Christian education Training
