Teacher on Call

John Knox Christian School invites caring and dedicated educators to join our Teacher on Call team. As a Teacher on Call, you will be welcomed into a supportive school community. You will step into classrooms across grade levels to provide continuity of learning, support students with warmth and consistency, and contribute to a positive and respectful classroom environment.

As A Teacher on Call, you will:

• Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher
• Help to create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and respectful learning environment
• Support student learning and classroom routines
• Build positive relationships with students and staff
• Adapt with flexibility and care to the needs of each classroom

Qualifications:

• A teacher who holds (or is eligible for) BC Teacher Certification
• Committed to Christ-centered education
• Warm, adaptable, and calm in a variety of classroom settings
• A collaborative and professional team member
• Experience in elementary and/or middle school settings is an asset
