Business Manager Back to Jobs

Pacific Christian School is seeking a Business Manager who reports to the Superintendent and works with the leadership and business teams as well as the Finance Committee and Treasurer to:

  • Assist in the establishing and monitoring of the school’s budget.
  • Oversee the school’s accounting systems.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements for the Superintendent and Finance Committee.
  • Prepare various reports related to the school’s financial performance for the Ministry of Education and the Society of Christian Schools of British Columbia.
  • Prepare tax receipts and reports.
  • Monitor all insurance policies and other service contracts.
  • Assist in the administration of staff wages and benefits.


This is a full-time position and will commence in September 2022.


Ideal candidates possess:

  • college diploma or university degree with an emphasis in finance and/or business administration (or equivalent education and related experience).
  • accounting designation.
  • extensive experience in budgeting, policy analysis/development and financial reporting/analysis.
  • business experience in an educational environment
  • vibrant Christian faith and a desire to foster Christian faith formation in young people.
  • desire to become an active, contributing, collaborative member of a professional learning community.
  • have demonstrated organizational and planning skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
