Business Office Chartered Accountant Support Back to Jobs

Pacific Christian School is seeking an accountant to support our Business Office.  We anticipate this position will require, on average, approximately 1 day per week; however, the amount of time required will vary during the year.  This position could be done in a hybrid (on/offsite) manner; however, we anticipate at least some time onsite will be required.

This position is unique in that it could be accomplished either by a regular contract employee or through a relationship with an accounting firm or self-employed accountant.

Ideally, the candidate:

  • Will be a Chartered Professional Accountant.
  • Will have experience working with non-profit organizations and/or schools.

Business Office – Human Resources and General Support

Pacific Christian School is seeking a person to assist with our Business Office, particularly in relation to Human Resources (payroll, benefits), but also to support the school’s efforts to collect and utilize data to improve its financial operations. This is a part-time position of 1-2 days per week (depending on the availability/experience of the applicant) which could be combined with existing other roles at the school.

Ideally, the candidate will:

  • have experience or significant interest in Human Resources
  • have a CPHRA designation or a willingness to take online coursework offered through them.
  • have the desire to improve PCS’s HR practices to ensure our staff experience exceptional support.
  • will have the desire to improve their capacity and skills continuously.
