Unity Christian School in beautiful Chilliwack, B.C. is accepting applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Educational Support Services (ESS) Coordinator for 2023 – 2024. Unity Christian is a growing school community in the Upper Fraser Valley with 600 students K – 12.   The mission of Unity Christian School is to “nurture our students’ God-given potential as they humbly serve God’s world.”  We are intentional about pursuing our graduate profile for our students.

We have a progressive and innovative Educational Support Services team. We are looking for a passionate individual with a growth mindset, ready to lead an exciting and progressive team.

Role of the Educational Support Services Coordinator

The ESS Coordinator will work to ensure that all students are receiving a high-quality education that meets their learning needs and goals in order that they might develop his or her God-given potential. The role of the ESS coordinator is essential in the creation and implementation of the necessary interventions, supports, and related services as stipulated in the child’s IEP.  Working collaboratively with the Director of Educational Support Services, the ESS Coordinator will provide direct support, guidance, and oversight on key elements related to special education and intervention compliance, reporting and management.

Each candidate must be:

• a committed Christian
• a BC-certified teacher (or be able to qualify for BC certification)
• dedicated to Christian education.

• your BC Teacher’s Certificate, or equivalent if you’re from out of province
• university transcripts, if available (copies are acceptable)
