Duties
Kamloops Christian School invites applications for a full-time or part-time Elementary (K-5) Teacher. The successful applicant will join a vibrant staff with opportunities for collaboration and professional development. Candidates must hold a valid teaching certificate allowing them to teach in British Columbia. Successful candidates will participate in an interview process. Experience with working in elementary school grades is an asset. Highly desirable qualifications include experience using Teaching for Transformation, knowledge of Google’s Educational Suite, and experience collaborating with other teachers (cross grade and subject instruction).

Pay Band: According to KCSA’s pay scale based on SCSBC’s pay scale. Total salary amount is based on years of experience (TQS). KCS does have Cat 5+ and Masters pay scales as well. A SIGNING BONUS of $2,000 will be awarded to the successful applicant as well as up to $500 for moving expenses.
