Join our Teaching Team
We are seeking an individual to join VCS as a Grade 4 Teacher to fill a one-year maternity leave tentatively starting on March 27, 2023.  This position is a part-time position working approximately 4 days per week or the equivalent of 80% of full time.

 

Requirements

  • Certified teacher in British Columbia.
  • Completion of a Bachelor of Education
  • Experience teaching numeracy and literacy
  • Understanding of faith integration across the curriculum
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction
  • Strong working knowledge of current pedagogy, sound assessment practices and learning
  • Empowered by technology

    • Recent graduates (up to two years of teaching experience) require final Practicum Reports
