Position:  Grade 8 Homeroom Teacher (1.0 FTE)

Unity Christian School in beautiful Chilliwack, B.C., may need a Grade 8 Homeroom teacher for the 2023 – 2024 school year.

Unity Christian is a growing school community in the Upper Fraser Valley with 600 students K – 12. The mission of Unity Christian School is to “nurture our students’ God-given potential as they humbly serve God’s world.”  We are intentional about pursuing our graduate profile for our students.

About the Middle School

The middle school has 12 committed teaching staff members and 150 students in grades 6 – 8. The middle school learning community is highly collaborative, integrative, and focused on meeting the unique learning needs of middle school students. We seek to empower students to own their learning and provide a grace-filled community that allows students to be challenged in their faith and learning.

We are looking for a passionate and growth-minded individual ready to be part of an exciting and progressive teaching team.

Each candidate must be:

• a committed Christian
• a BC-certified teacher (or be able to qualify for BC certification)
• dedicated to Christian education.
