Langley Christian School is accepting applications for a part time (30 hours/week) IT Support Technician.

Our community includes 1200+ students and 170+ staff on three campuses in one of Canada’s fastest growing communities, located a short distance from Vancouver in the heart of the Fraser Valley. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with Windows and MacIntosh operating systems
  • Working knowledge of basic network topographies, DNS, DHCP, Routing, Switches and servers
  • Familiarity with Google Apps Suite
  • Familiarity with Windows Domain, Group Policy, Active Directory, and Azure Endpoint Manager an asset
  • Able to run cabling and carry heavy equipment when necessary
  • Eagerness to continue learning
  • Listening and communication skills (with staff and students alike)
  • Ability to discern priorities and execute tasks assigned
  • Ability to discern IT needs and communicate those to IT Manager
  • Proven work ethic
  • Demonstratable troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of sound and video equipment (ability to help with chapels and special events requiring sound, video and lighting).
