Duncan Christian School is a diverse and growing Christian school located in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island and invites applications for the following teaching position for the 2022-2023 school year.

Middle/High School Sciences Teacher 

This full-time position includes being part of our present science program. Flexibility within this program and its courses may occur. Courses may include some of the following:  Science 9, 10, Biology 11/12, Physics 11/12, Environmental Science 11/12

Requirements

• Applicants must hold, or be eligible for, a valid BC Teaching Certificate and meet the requirements of the DCS Employment of Teachers Contract.
• Completion of a Bachelor of Education
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction
• Strong working knowledge and willingness to continue learning in the areas of current pedagogy, sound assessment practices and learning
