Position:  Middle School Vice-Principal (1.0 FTE – Maternity Leave)

Unity Christian School in beautiful Chilliwack, B.C. is seeking a Middle School Vice-Principal for the 2023-24 school year. The position is a full-time maternity leave position starting in October 2023.

Unity Christian is a growing school community in the Upper Fraser Valley with 600 students K – 12.   The mission of Unity Christian School is to “nurture our students God-given potential as they humbly serve God’s world.”  We are intentional about pursuing our graduate profile for our students.

About the Middle School

The middle school is home to 12 committed teaching staff members and 150 students in grades 6 – 8. The middle school learning community is one that is highly collaborative, integrative, and focused on meeting the unique learning needs of middle school students. We seek to empower students to own their learning, and to provide a grace-filled community that allows students to be challenged in their faith and learning.

We are looking for a passionate and growth-minded individual, ready to be part of a exciting and progressive teaching team.

 

Each candidate must be:

• a committed Christian
• a BC certified teacher (or be able to qualify for BC certification)
• dedicated to Christian education.
