Langley Christian School is accepting applications for a part-time middle and elementary ELL Teacher beginning September 2022.

As an applicant for the role, you will demonstrate:

  • Ability to plan and organize curriculum and individualized programs
  • Understanding of essential learning outcomes within the new curriculum and ELL standards
  • Positively contribute to a team environment and collaborate
  • Engage ELL learners at all levels
  • Effective written and oral interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in the classroom with teachers and educational assistants



  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree and TESOL certification
  • Eligible for B.C. Teaching Certification or B.C. Independent Schools Teaching Certification preferred
  • Evidence of involvement in a local Christian faith community
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, inclusive work environment
  • Evidence of courage, integrity, transparency and honesty in relationships
  • Ability to implement evidence-based, best practice in instruction and assessment
