    THE POSITION?

    Langley Christian School provides a dependable, high-quality education in a thriving Christian learning community committed to helping families equip their child to grow confidently in faith and find their purpose in the world.

    We are seeking a skilled music educator either fully certified in BC or eligible for an independent schools teacher certification or subject-specific teaching certification, who has a track-record and experience working with primary grades (K-3) and willing to work collaboratively to strengthen the LCS Arts Program. Days of work and assignment (0.30 FTE) are flexible but also dependent on other program needs and teaching schedules.

     

    WHAT DO WE OFFER?

    Competitive compensation (1.0 FTE salary range $64,224 – $106,193), pension plan and extended benefits package. Salaries near par with public school compensation.

    Generous prep/admin time and professional development opportunities. 180 mins prep time per 1.0 FTE for elementary teachers.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Eligible for teaching certification or letter of permission.

    Experience in early years or primary-aged education.

    Bachelor’s degree in education or music.

    Evidence of a strong sense of purpose and identity built on Biblical principles and participation in local Christian church community.
