Our Education Support Services Department is accepting applications for a full-time Learning Assistance and Special Education Coordinator (Education Support Services Coordinator), at the Secondary campus, for the 2021 – 2022 school year.
Richmond Christian School Education Support Services is committed to provide a quality, Christ-centred education, equipping all students to joyfully serve Christ in all aspects of life. Through purposeful inclusion we encourage students to develop their gifts, become self-advocates, and gain independence as valued members of their communities.
The Education Support Services coordinator, as part of a team with one other coordinator, is responsible for coordinating the development and supporting the implementation of Individualized Education and Learning Support Plans for students with exceptionalities. These duties would also include organizing work experience, planning modified curriculum, such as life skills. The coordinator will also be responsible for leadership and supervision for Education Assistants at the secondary campus, as well as being part of Richmond Christian School’s K-12 Education Support Services team.
