After ten years of faithful service, Jenny Williams announced her retirement at the end of the 2022-23 school year. Jenny is well-known and well-loved by our member school coordinators, teachers, and staff. She has served us diligently in educational support services and safe and caring schools. She will be genuinely missed. We are pleased that Jenny has given us sufficient time to plan for her replacement.

With this in mind, we are excited to announce the posting of a new position at SCSBC, Associate Executive Director. This role will further bolster our ability to support schools in the areas of leadership, leadership development, governance, and strategic planning. It also brings us in alignment with some of our sister organizations in Canada (Prairie Centre for Christian Education and the Independent Schools Association of BC). Please keep this hiring process in your prayers. This is the first step in a staff re-alignment at SCSBC. Once a candidate has been selected for this role, we will finalize the job descriptions and look for Jenny’s replacement.
