    Unity Christian School, located in the picturesque city of Chilliwack, British Columbia, is seeking a Development Assistant (0.4 FTE) for the 2024/25 school year.

    The Development Assistant works under the supervision of the Director of Development and provides administrative support in the admissions process and development initiatives.

    Skills

    • Organized and detail-oriented
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships
    • Proficiency in Google platform (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Canva, and donor database software (e.g., Keela)

     

    Education

    • Preference for candidates with a college or university degree/diploma with an emphasis on communications, administration, and/or public relations.

     

    Experience

    • Previous experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or a related field is preferred.
    • Experience initiating, cultivating and managing relationships

     

    Each candidate must be:

    • a committed Christian
    • dedicated to Christian education
