Educational Support Services Coordinator

The King’s School is accepting applications for a part-time (0.5 FTE) Educational Support Services Coordinator for September 2025. The ESS Coordinator would report directly to the principal and oversee K-12 learning support, learning assistance, and the hiring, training, and supervision of educational assistants. They would collaborate with school-based teams and parents to prepare and implement IEPS, provide support for instructional classroom strategies, and organize and lead professional development for EAs.

Qualifications

Applicants should demonstrate a genuine relationship with Christ and a pedagogy that reflects a biblical worldview. To be considered for the role, candidates should possess relational attributes, experience with inclusive classrooms programs and practices, and a passion for pursuing Christ. Teachers should hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate. 

Specific Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants with specialization or equivalent experience in Special Education or Inclusive Education.

Compensation Range

Following the SCSBC guidelines, a part-time (0.5 FTE) coordinator ranges from $26,871 to $47,090 $, depending on education, category qualifications, and experience. We have an excellent compensation package of 8.05% pension, a premium dental plan, and extended health benefits.
