Educational Support Services Coordinator

Unity Christian School, located in the picturesque city of Chilliwack, British Columbia, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Educational Support Services (ESS) Coordinator for the 2025/26 school year. As an integral member of our Educational Support Services team, you will play a crucial role in fostering a Christ-centered, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for our students. We have a progressive and innovative Educational Support Services team. We are looking for a passionate individual with a growth mindset, ready to lead an exciting and progressive team.

Role of the Educational Support Services Coordinator

The ESS Coordinator will work to ensure that all students are receiving a high-quality education that meets their learning needs and goals in order that they might develop his or her God-given potential. The role of the ESS coordinator is essential in the creation and implementation of the necessary interventions, supports, and related services as stipulated in the child’s IEP. Working collaboratively with the Director of Educational Support Services, the ESS Coordinator will provide direct support, guidance, and oversight on key elements related to special education and intervention compliance, reporting and management. Each candidate must be:

• a committed Christian
• dedicated to Christian education
• a BC-certified teacher (or be able to qualify for BC certification)
• trained and/or experience in working with children with diverse learning needs
