Educational Support Services (ESS) Coordinator

 King’s Christian School (KCS) in the “Heart of the Shuswap” – Salmon Arm, B.C. – is accepting applications for a part-time Educational Support Services Coordinator position commencing in September 2024.

KCS has been providing Christian Education to Preschool – Gr. 12 students for over forty years. Consider joining a vibrant, community-minded staff exploring God’s call to “Educate for Life.”

KCS offers a competitive compensation package, including a matching pension plan with Christian Schools International and a benefits package. King’s also offers reduced tuition to staff members with school-age children.

Compensation: $50,014 – $87,390

Dependent on education, qualifications, and experience; to be pro-rated for full-time equivalency.

Requirements:

• A committed Christian
• A current BC-certified teacher, or in the process of gaining B.C. certification
• Additional training or qualifications in Special Education and a keen interest in learning research.
• Aspiring resource teachers may be considered if motivated to engage in independent professional development and study adaptive curriculum, learning disabilities, instructional methods, and assistive technology.
• Ability to think and work adaptively and collaborate strategically with teachers and families.
