    Richmond Christian School is hiring for a French Teacher to join us for the 2025/26 school year and onwards.  

     

    About You

    The ideal candidate is a BC-certified educator who demonstrates a strong commitment towards Christian Education and has experience teaching French as a second language. You thrive in a collaborative team environment, are dynamic and have an ability to deliver curriculum content in an innovative manner that fully engages students in learning.

     

    About the Position

    We currently have an opening for a French Teacher for grades 6-8 at our Middle School campus. The teacher will be part of a team of educators in providing quality, Christ-centred education and act as a personal model to deepen students’ understanding of a Biblical worldview and relationship with God.

    This is a continuing contract position, open to candidates seeking part-time or full-time employment. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2025.

    The posted salary range is based on the 2024/25 salary grid and will be adjusted for the 2025/26 school year.

     

    Education and Experience 

    • BC Teaching Credentials with experience teaching French as a second language
    • Demonstrated understanding and application of the Universal Design of Learning
    • Legal authorization to work and teach in BC

     

    Bonus points: 

    • Training and/or experience teaching Middle School
    • Has additional teachable majors/subjects
