    HS Mathematics Teacher 1.0 FTE – Beginning August 2025

    Langley Christian School is accepting applications for a High School Mathematics Teacher to begin in August 2025.

    THE POSITION

    The High School Mathematics Teacher will collaborate with members of the mathematics department to create innovative programming and learning opportunities.

    You will ensure effective implementation of inclusive practices for all students while creating a rigorous learning environment.

    You possess skills and experience in coaching basketball, volleyball, track and/or the ability to contribute to STEM programming and co-curricular.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • BC Ministry of Education Certification
    • Relevant university qualifications (Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Science or Arts in Mathematics
    • Preference for graduate-level qualifications
    • Previous experience teaching Mathematics
    • Experience at an independent school is an asset
    • A comprehensive understanding of mathematics curriculum as per Ministry of Education BC documents
    • Strong computer skills, including Google Suite
    • Model high standards in teaching practice, interactions with all stakeholders
    • Known to communicate, negotiate, collaborate and build partnerships effectively

     

    WHAT DO WE OFFER? 

    • Annual salary range of $66,150 – $109,379
