    HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER (1.0 FTE) Career Education

    THE POSITION?

    We are searching for a qualified teacher with a high capacity to build relationships and disciple students in Christian character, who has expertise in career education and demonstrated ability to adapt to potential other vacancies that may emerge as we finalize the high school timetable for 2024/25.

    The assignment will include career education (grades 10 and 12) and will be filled to 1.0 FTE with an internal coverage/TOC assignment and/or additional blocks we are unable to fill in the timetable from existing staff.

    Competitive compensation, pension plan (8.05% defined benefit matching) and extended benefits package. Salary based on experience and qualifications: $64,223 – $106,193

    Annual discretionary professional development stipend.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Eligible for BC teaching certificate
    • Bachelor degree in a teachable subject: preference for coursework or experience in career education.
    • Evidence of strong interpersonal, technology, and communication skills
    • Preference for candidates willing to contribute expertise to programming in athletics/coaching, performing arts, technology or service education/outreach.
