Richmond Christian School is hiring for an Inclusion Teacher to join us at our Secondary Campus!
The ideal candidate is a BC-certified educator who demonstrates a strong commitment towards Christian Education and a strong understanding of the BC Curriculum. You have a strong background in supporting students with diverse learning needs and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Formerly known as a Learning Support Teacher (LST), the Inclusion Teacher works with teachers to support students with diverse needs through developing and implementing personalized education plans (IEPs). The teacher will have a caseload of students while potentially teaching classes his/her own teachable major(s). Most importantly, the teacher acts as a personal model to deepen students’ understanding of a Biblical worldview and relationship with God.
What You’ll Do: These are the main duties of the Inclusion Teacher that can include other administrative tasks as required.
