With a strong history of 75 years in Christian education, VCS serves a diverse community of 940 students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. Position Overview

Beginning in June 2025, we seek a part-time (2 days a week – Thursday and Friday) IT Technician to assist our IT team with day-to-day technology needs. In this role you would be responsible for daily technical support around the school: classroom audio/visual support, staff and student device troubleshooting, and password resets, and other related tasks as assigned

We are a Google Workspace for Education school and support the following types of devices:

• Chromebooks
• Apple Laptops (Macbooks)
• Apple Desktops (Mac Minis)
• Windows Laptops
• Windows Desktops
• iPads
• We have a 1:1 Chromebook program for students in Grades 6-9 and a BYOD program in Grades 10-12.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Technical Support
• Monitor, update, and maintain tickets in our ticketing system
• Assist our IT team in solving complicated issues
• Troubleshoot classroom technology issues
• Troubleshoot staff and student device issues

• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, reliable
• Giftedness in problem-solving
• Willingness to learn; take on new challenges
• Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with Google Workspace is an asset

Salary Range (for a 40% position): $18,450 to $21,525
